In 1991, dancers Kathy Hamrick and Kate Warren opened Hamrick/Warren Dance, a professional modern dance school. Starting with just three modern classes a week and renting studio space at a Montessori school, they soon expanded their curriculum, adding yoga and increasing the number of modern classes. In 1994, to meet the growing demand for their classes, Kathy and Kate moved to their current location at Cafe Dance where they now offer on-going classes in Beginning through Advanced Modern Dance, Yoga and Seniors Yoga.
