
Come learn the beautiful movements of belly dance with a twist! Tribal fusion style belly dance is a fusion of classical belly dance, American Tribal Style belly dance, and various cultural dance forms. Class is open to all levels, ages, shapes, and sizes!
Each class will begin with yoga-based warm-up to stretch, strengthen, and align our bodies for dancing. Class topics will range from basic movements to technique (hip articulations and abdominal isolations) to stylization. Choreography will be taught to help bring the concepts together.

Advanced registration and payment prior to the start of each series is mandatory.

Attire:
Wear comfortable clothing that you can stretch and move in. Anything you would wear to a Yoga class would be appropriate. Please, no coined hip scarves. Bare feet only.
About Lily:
Lily has studied with many distinguished belly dance instructors from all over the world. From 2003 – 2007, Lily lived and traveled abroad, studying, teaching, and performing belly dance in London, western Europe, Egypt, Lebanon, Japan, and New Zealand. Lily has been teaching belly dance since 2004 for both the advance and beginner dancers. Lily’s inclination towards tribal fusion style belly dance is a result of her love of cultures, music, and dance. Lily is also a Hatha Yoga certified instructor and registered with Yoga Alliance.
